I tried that and it didn't work. I get a WAN 1 IP address starting with 176. and according to the manual its because the ISP has not accepted the username and password.
The username and password are the same for all residential customers so must be something else setup incorrectly

The screens and menus may vary a bit depending on the firmware version running on your router but on the whole it should be very similar to configure.
thanks for that. I upgraded the firmware last night so will have another go tonight. Frustrating when it should be so easy.
Thanks for your great description. I updated the firmware and then followed your instructions. It worked.
I then set it up with Nord VPN as per draytek instructions and that worked too.
