Re: Do I need Whole Home Wifi?

@Doddy92 I know this won't help much but since you are in a new build, surely there ought to be no problems with Wi-Fi connections anywhere in your home.

Our home is 11 years old, 3 bed and we have no problems with Wi-Fi anywhere. In fact, our two smart TVs, 2 iPhones, 3 iPads, a desktop computer, a laptop and a ThinkPad all share Wi-Fi. The SH2 is too inconveniently placed to use ethernet.

I have tried everywhere in our home and there are no "dead spots" to be found anywhere.

Re: Do I need Whole Home Wifi?

If you are running out of Wi-Fi range I would get a wired wireless extender and place that in an area of the house not covered by your router. A non proprietary brand or a repurposed router will work well and is a cost effective option.
