I’ve always used this in 10 years of using various routers. As a guess it maybe due to age of accounts.
my original account is openworld if that helps.
I wouldn't have thought so, the PPPoE login is generic as the account authenticates against the line rather than discrete logins. As far as I'm aware it has always been xxxx@btbroadband.com, but obviously not in some cases.

EDIT: The username part is what I am referring to not the rest about it being ADSL. The username has as far as I have known never been @btinternet.com
Heres mine, perhaps a mod can comment for future reference. I’ve removed the first part of my email.
password is anything you like, I’m using BT for example.

Are you sure, here’s a post in 2015 where you mention @btinternet.com
I do not recall that post but I would say that is a typo on my part!
I tried bthomehub@btbroadband.com and it didn't work, so will try xxxx @btbroadband.com and xxx @btinternet.com
with a password of BT, to see if either of those work.
Unfortunately neither xxx@btbroadband.com or xxx@btinternet.com and a password of BT, rebooting the router after the change each time worked.
any other ideas?
back to using the hhub6 as a modem but guess not ideal and not as good as just using the Draytek Vigor 130
Are you saying after a reboot it works then fails to connect?
Has the MK62 updated it’s firmware to the latest version?
Have you reset the MK62 using the rear pin hole method?
Are you setting it up via the Nighthawk app or the web GUI?
Double check all your connections are correctly placed in the ports.
No, sorry not quite
I setup the Nighthawk initially connected to the BT HHub6 and it worked well. I did this last week and it downloaded the latest firmware as part of the install.
I then replaced the BT HHub6 with a Draytek Vigor 130 and cannot now get that configuration working.
I have plugged in the Draytek, waited 2 minutes and the 3 green lights come on OK, including DSL.
Nighthawk Step1.
I then plug the Nighthawk in, logged in via the GUI and went to Advanced->Advanced Setup->IPv6 and selected PPPoE and changed the Login to xxx@btbroadband.com and the password to BT then pressed Apply.
Went back to the Advanced Menu and selected reboot for the router.
The router came back up and I could log in to it but no Internet available.
Nighthawk Step2.
I then went back to Advanced->Advanced Setup->IPv6 and selected PPPoE and changed the Login to xxx@btinternet.com and the password to BT then pressed Apply.
Went back to the Advanced Menu and selected reboot for the router.
The router came back up and I could log in to it but no Internet available.
Hopefully clearer..
Many thanks for all your help here - really appreciate it.
Regards
Mark
