Ethernet

Hoping someone can help me!

My house has been wired with Ethernet points in each room, all terminating in the attic.

Does this mean that I can join them all up and have a wired connection in each room?; if so what hardware to I need to do this?

Many thanks.

Re: Ethernet

Just think of it as a collection of long Ethernet patch leads. If they all arrive in the attic, either put your router up there and patch the LAN ports to each of the  Ethernet ports (using an Ethernet switch if you need more ports than your router has) or site your router adjacent to one of the Ethernet points and patch one of the router ports to it and fit an Ethernet switch in the loft to distribute the ports to the other rooms.
