Facetime not disconnecting

Hi All,

 

We have  a BT Home Hub 5 (Type B) | Software version v0.07.03.0814-BT, and would like to block traffic after 9:30pm for specific devices. we thought we had this sorted with setting the access control by device / mac address.

 

We have just found out the if youngest is on facetime on her ipod at 9:30 it does not disconnect the call. If the call drops then she cannot reconnect - so we know the time limit is working, just not the way we thought it would.

 

Is there a simple way of forcing the cut off time? (simple because we change the times for weekends and holidays)

It does not force a disconnection, you would have to restart the home hub, or put it on a mains timer switch.
