Fibre 1 Package: Issues with separate bands disappearing

Hello again.

ISSUE:

Dropping of connections still persists. Mostly upstairs on 2.4 Ghz devices, and sometime downstairs on periodic demand on 5 Ghz connections.

 

SEPARATE BANDS:

Established separate bands for different devices - say more than one requiring streaming connection iplayer, itv hub etc on 5Ghz device - mostly downstairs only.

CURRENTLY:

Showing a higher broadband rate; all well and good - although just wondering whether this is the correct package?

 

HAVE:

Fibre 1 broadband package which promises to offer:

46 - 50mb

8mb - 9mb upload speed range

45 Mb min. stay fast etc.

SETUP FOR THIS ACCOUNT:

Only has the addition of a BT Mini kit and one other repeater, which wouldn't impact on the original Hub connection anyway..

 

- USED IN LIVING ROOM AND HALLWAY:

BT Mini kits (downstairs)

- with these you have the option to use them both as an extender for your ethernet lan, or as wifi extenders standalone after configuring them at the central hub using cat cable disconnecting and re-plugging.

 

- UPSTAIRS REPEATER:

tp-link N300 (2x2 Mimo) 2.4 Ghz only device

*(irrespective: current devices - tablets, iphones and laptops mostly have dual band wifi capabilities, therefore adapt to the repeaters capabilities)

 

COSTING / BT EQUIPMENT:

The mini-kit and router as with all packages, are on loan - the extender kit being the latest addition following a phone consultation with BT technician.

Just looking at pricing at BT Shop, essentially for re-conditioned hardware constantly on loan with broadband packages..wouldn't this impact on the sale price?
