Hi
Looks like my router has rebooted and my external ip has changed. Sadly I forgot to setup my DDNS on this router and now I can't get on to my home devices while I'm away.
Is there anyway I can discover the external ip of my home home router while I away?
Thanks
Solved! Go to Solution.
Do you have any device on your network which sends you regular email updates?
Only when a fault occurs or a restart of a couple of things (sadly not the router)
I could force a restart I think which will trigger an email.

How would you force a restart if you cannot get access to your home network?
Why I asked about the email was because the originator IP address will show in the email header, and you can then use that to access your home network.
We have decorators in (not tech minded) so asking them to turn the power off and on again would give me emails 😁
Thanks for you help

Provided you can look at the email header information, your IP address will show at the beginning.
Thanks that worked good tip
