For the past 10 days or so the WiFi in the house has been getting worse, normally 20 Mb+ throughout the house but now dropping to 1 or 2 Mb.....gaming for my son's is none existent. Netflix may or may not work.
I thought the extenders (2 x 750's) were at fault, they are at the latest firmware so I removed one and bought a tp-link to replace it, however that is as equally poor download but the WiFi signal was stronger.
After continuous reboots and at the point of not knowing what to do next, I checked the firmware status and see it was updated on the 8th of June...about the same time as the WiFi started playing up.
Are the extenders now not compatible? Is there an upgrade for their firmware? I'm not renewing my hardware because of a dodgy update on the router as it worked before!!!
Any help would be appreciated......

This is the exact issue I'm having on wifi since the update of firmware to my Homehub (6?)
No one at BT has recognised this and no faults re recorded. Is there a recognised issue with this firmware as my line is unusable for streaming and gaming now...
Reading a few threads and there definitely appears to be some issues with this firmware.
Doesn't appear to have been tested on all apps/hardware and does need flagging to BT....my WiFi is pretty much useless at the moment and has been for nearly two weeks....plus at my expense of buying a new extender.
Rebooting doesn't work.....not tried a factory reset but that would probably clear your personal settings and leave the latest firmware there.
A factory reset may help as the firmware may not have updated correctly and factory reset will help
Please post back after the factory reset
After an hour of messing around, pressing WPS from most devices and resetting passwords I am now working again.....it does seem more stable and faster! However that might be the new extender that I put in....which looks like I could have saved my money....
Thanks for the suggestion of the reset....I didn't want to do it but proved that it hadn't updated correctly in the first place
You will lose your personnel settings......Your router won't recognise your devices after the reset, however your devices should have the password saved in and the WiFi network....with most its simply a case of reconnecting.....extenders will need resetting or WPS pressing.....if you have changed your router password that will be reset to default and will need resetting again.
