Getting lag spikes of up to 2400ms making streaming/gaming unplayable.

Hi all,

I have been having this problem for a while now. I'll be watching live streams or playing games online and my ping will go from 30 to up to 2400ms for up to 2 minutes and then go back down to 30ms. This will happen every 10-15 minutes at random intervals. Some nights it will happen more frequent than others.

I've ran a speedtest on speedtest.net, getting 22.59MB/s DL speed. 1.17MB/s UL speed. 17ms Ping.

Here are screen shots of when I get these annoyingly random spikes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit - I am using wireless.

Re: Getting lag spikes of up to 2400ms making streaming/gaming unplayable.

Changed the wifi from 2.4 ghz to 5 ghz. Downloaded inSSider and it shows my wifi is the only thing on that frequency within my vicinity. There can not be any other interference yet my internet is still **bleep**. Any ideas?

Are there not any BT tech guys on this forum?
