If i bought a Google Wifi System (3-Pack) Router replacement for whole home coverage, would this mean i no longer use my bt smart hub, and only use the 3 Google router replacement?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Its just a router, so I think you would need a separate modem, as the smart hub cannot be used in modem only mode.

You will need to be connected to your home BT Broadband connection to view it, or any links to it that I post on this forum.
It doesn't have a built in modem so you would need a separate one in order to connect to your broadband. The HH doesn't have a modem only mode.
A VDSL modem. There are not many options for standalone modems, the choice is pretty much Openreach HG612 from ebay or Draytek Vigor 130 or Netgear DM200. A number of third party VDSL modem/routers can be put in bridge mode.
