Re: HH 5 Replacement !!!!!

Well.. got myself a HG612 (unlocked) and as yet - no OpenRG calls! Still have the problem with the speed

right now I have a 70mb come 4pm it will be down 25-30mb and stops at that till 8am the next day...

Someone pointed me in downloading a HG612 Stats logging software which should help getting my point

across to BT support! - would you know what make is the HH5? I was also thinking how long will it be till

someone will unluck this unit?

Re: HH 5 Replacement !!!!!

If you modem has kept connection?

Would that point to something else on the network/exchange  that is slowing speeds at peak times ?

They are good those unlocked modems.Having got used to seeing all the info, I don't know if I would move back to the HH5 even if BT get round to fixing its issues.

Re: HH 5 Replacement !!!!!

Hopfully Both soon 😉

The line has settled back down with the ECI version & is in "Fast" mode which I think is the best ?

Do like the look of the ease of use of the HG612 and would be good to see if there is indeed a difference between the two types of modem on a longer line like mine.
