I hope this is an improvement on the Home Hub 5. I turned the wifi off on mine and bought a £20 TP Link router that's been rock solid, except it's only 2.4ghz bgn, so I'd like the more modern standards of the Smart Hub.

 

Does anyone know if BT phone sales can match the personalised offers in My BT? I'm getting offered Infinity 2 for £20.50 per month for a new 12 month contract. The offer page doesn't mention anything about the Smart Hub, naturally, but I figure I could try and haggle my way to a free one since I would be taking out a new 12 month contract.

I've just ordered one too using that link. All gone through fine. It even warned me the warranty on my existing hub will now expire.

Check your spam folder. That's where most BT emails end up.
