I know it might be an old subject but did this issue ever get fixed, my canon all in 1 printer uses WPS to connect wirelessly to hubs ...
HH4 no issue what so ever but on the HH5 if i try to get the printer to sync with hub using the WPS button as the printer is trying to connect to the hub the HH5 like stalls and restarts itself, any ideas whats causing this

No idea, but have you tried entering the wireless passkey directly on the printer instead?
Don't use WPS.
Clear the old hub details out of the printer and connect manually or change the SSid and password on your HH5 to the same as the HH4 and the printer and all your devices should connect without noticing the change in hub.
Nope didnt work and printer only has WPS connection for wifi cant or it does'nt allow manual entry on its little keypad.
If theres no easy fix i'll just go out and buy a new printer thats 2017 model im sure that will work
I'm following an older post of yours from 2013 about seperating the wifi bands and also changing the ssid's on both by adding a 5 on the 5ghz band i'll let you know the outcome soon
oh gawd now your asking umm let me find out...
Got it finally figured out didnt realise that when wps scan is on you can then hit reset which takes you to the manual entry screen done and working thanks.
