Well bt support has been useless regarding this matter. They dont seem to understand that port speed differs from broadband sync speed which seems to be all they are considered about. I have also now got problems with wifi kicking my phone and nexus 7 out every time it starts downloading or streaming.
I requested an alternative home hub today, a v4 or a v3 type B but was refused. The default answer for anything other than what you have appears to be "out of stock". Its so frustrating, especally as this has been going on for almost 2 years.
Well just to let you know... I called and explained my situation again and after refusing to except the standard excuse/script answers they decided to take my issues seriously (port speeds and wireless dropping under load). Anyway, agreed to replace hub with v3 type B and hey presto I have a type B delivered today.
