HInternal network details and dashboard accessible on WAN interface

It appears that information internal to my network is freely available simply by visiting my ip address. WITHOUT A PASSWORD.

MAC addresses, hostnames, ip addresses... the lot...

I am absolutely beside myself. How do we restrict access?

On the phone to "tech support"... not inspiring the greatest confidence.

We've sorted it out they didn't even know this was possible.

You need to be connected to your home network before you can see that information

Yes it is. Go to your dashboard on your public IP and select "My Devices".

Use you mobile but turn off wfi then try using mobile network entering 192.168.1.254 into address bar and see if you can access hub without password

Friend. Please.

You're talking to a veteran here. 192.68.x.x is the private IP which is accessible through the wifi.

Do me a favour, go to google and type "what is my ip" then enter that number into your browser as "https://<your PUBLIC ip>

Then view your information, freely available.

Next time try to come up with a useful response.

I can assure you that it is not possible to access the hub manager via your public IP address. If you are connecting via your own wifi rather than a 4G or other method you will be simply performing a NAT loopback within the hub from your private IP address.

That is a useful response.

Except it's wrong.

Please stop wasting my time. I've tested this across a number of devices from a few different locations now.
