Yeah sorry that's what I meant, they said it's not a fault of BT at all, presumed they meant with their router as well. Not going to give up on it yet, just emailed them complaint to see what they come back with and go from there. Thanks for all the help so far anyway.

Log into the Home Hub and check that no names for your devices have spaces or : characters in the name. If they do change them (in the advanced settings of the router or in your devices).

 

It can also help to set the 5Ghz network to a seperate SSID name.
