IPv6 Set up using Archer C5400

Hello,

I currently have my BT Home hub set with wireless off, and instead have my Archer C5400 plugged in and broadcasting its own wifi, as if the the BT home hub is in router mode. I have done this because i like using the QoS on the other device.

Is it possible to set up IPv6 on my Archer C5400? I can see it is enabled on the home hub, but I can't work out how to get it to work on here. Was wondering if anyone could help me?

I have tried both the settings below to no joy:

@Loopylad22

That would not work, because to get IPv6, you need a direct connection the the Internet.

All you are doing is using the Archer as an additional router providing another level of LAN network translation, as the home hub cannot operate in modem only mode.

To do what you want, you would need a separate modem instead of the home hub.

Also, support for IPv6 on third party equipment on BT's IPv6 is very hit or miss. If IPv6 is a priority, use open source firmware like OpenWRT or DD-WRT (do this at your own risk and only if your router is supported).
