IPv6 with Netgear D6000

Go to solution

Hi there!

We've just switched from the old (really bad) BT Hub to a new shiny Netgear D6000 and for the most part it's pretty good.

The only issues we're having now is with IPv6.

I've read in multiple places to use it in 6to4 mode, however it doesn't seem to get anything and just says "Not Available".

Is there a step I've missed?

We're on old ADSL internet so we're using PPPoA rather than PPPoE so I'm not sure if that'd make a difference?

Thanks in advance! ๐Ÿ™‚

As far as I understand Netgear have no plans to support BT's usage of IPV6.

Check Prinknash's post #29. I would presume this includes the D6000 as well.

Post for moderator for Netgear is a #10.

That's a shame, guess I'm sticking to having a local server do HE tunneling.

Oh well, thank you anyway ๐Ÿ™‚
