Infinity/HH3/Wireless issues

Am having problems where download speed is seemingly affected by the wireless part of the HH3.0 (Type B).

 

We have had a pretty stable download connection of around 20 Mb for a long time, but now the connection frequently keeps dropping to around 2 Mb. I have discovered that the cure is to turn off the wireless on the Hub. When it's turned back on the connection comes back to 20 Mb or over - I've seen 27 Mb. Speed testing via speedtest.net, btw.

 

This is now a daily occurance - it happened just now, for instance. We have had no new equipment added to the network recently.

 

Does this indicate that the Hub is going unstable (it was newly installed in Sept 2011)? Could there be another cause?

This could be a problem with interference on the wireless signal.  Have you tried changing the wireless channel?
