Infinity Router from HomeHub3 to Netgear

Hey guys,

This is my first post!

I've had Infinity installed for 2 weeks. The HomeHub3 coverage is terrible. 7-8 metres to my kitchen and my cell phone kicks into 3G. Everyone says the coverage is expected to be pretty bad.

I've thinking about upgrading to a Netgear WiFi Router R6300. Is this a good choice? Compatible with Infinity?

Any knowledge most welcome!

Thanks in advance!

Ricky.

Re: Infinity Router from HomeHub3 to Netgear

You can use any router that is compatable with a PPPoE connection Amougst nanes to can use  as the user name is your BTInfinity email addy as well as others.

Although there is no password required some routers will not accept this so just put a space or use anything.

That seems a rather expensive device, unless you have wireless devices that support the new standards.

Here is another list.

Replacements for BT home hub 3

The TP-Link TL-WR1043ND is popular, and much cheaper, and is in use by many people on this forum.
