Is it possible to temporarily switch to mobile broadband?

I'm about to start renovating my house. While this happens I will be living in the garage. I need an Internet connection to carry on working from home but there is only a telephone connection in the main property which will be inaccessible and without mains power.

I currently have a BT Broadband-only service. Is there a way for me to keep this service while I temporarily live in the garage? Perhaps using EE mobile broadband under the same contract or even some sort of extension cable from the phone socket in the main property to the garage?

Any ideas gratefully accepted...

Re: Is it possible to temporarily switch to mobile broadband?

while not ideal for connection speed and stability the hub should work on an extension line as long as it does not pickup to much extra noise on the way (note: if it does not work you would be stuck as the engineer would just move it back to the main socket)

otherwise

make sure you get a short term contract otherwise you could end up paying for it over a long time.
