Issue with straming

Hi all So I'm reaching out here to see if anyone else has this issue or heard of it before.

I've had fibre installed for 12 months now but from install date to May had this issue then it was sorted by BT but now since October it's back and BT saying its nothing to do with them.

So the fault is anything todo with live streaming and live game play.

Netflix, prime and other demand apps issue is when it goes down not all content is there, or when play what's there its English subtle

Netflix and prime have both said that Im been detected in region 2 (this is when the hub goes down)

Game play unable to connect to online servers

Only way to fix this is to turn off and on both BT hubs

This happens every 3 to 5 days

It's anything that on the network from hardwired devices to WiFi. Rebooting everything in house dose nothing to bring it back online.

All other interent works fine from browsing to social media.

BT saying its in house not there side.

The other part is that I have 2 public IP addresses.

1 that I've had from May 2021 and still works to connect to house

The other IP changes when the hubs reboot

Any ideas anyone

Thanks

You cannot possibly have 2 public IP addresses, what makes you think you have?

As the posts above show, it's not at all clear what your setup is. It would help to know exactly, including any use of VPN.

Re: Issue with straming

I'm confused by your reference to Region 2, if you are anywhere in Europe and other parts of the world then that is the correct region and presumably you are in the UK so I see no problem there.

As for the changing IP address when the hub reboots, that is also correct, BT do not offer static IP addresses as standard to residential customers

Re: Issue with straming

The 2 IPs

CCTV as remote access by the public IP this IP is what I had in May and was even on the hub which still works when typed in to Web browser

That IP is no longer on the hub but works

The other IP is what is on the hub and does the same how ever after hub reboot that IP changes and that IP that was there no longer works too

So I see this as I have an old IP and IP that changes every time the hub reboots

Re: Issue with straming

There is no VPN or Proxy blockers at all.

Set up is from hub

Port 1 to switch does all upstairs

Port 2 to switch does main tv and consoles

Have replaced switches

Never had issue before switching to fibre but from November 2020 to May 2021 problems then bt sorted it and worked fine until October 2022

Nothing in house has changed

Re: Issue with straming

I'm only saying what netflix and prime both say,

The content is not uk's and the audio isn't in English too

When the hub goes down it only effects the streaming and live game play but if I use hotspot on 4g and.connect any items to that its fine yet soon as back on the main hub its back down

Only way to save it is to turn off the hubs and back on again

Cheers
