MacBook Air Intermittently Dropping Off WiFi to Home Hub 4

Our MacBook Air worked like a dream with our Home Hub 4 for many months.  Then all of a sudden it intermittenly won't connect.  All other devices - iPad2, PC's, Mobiles, Kindles - connect fine.  Also, the Mac will connect fine to a work router I have in the house but the signal from that is weak in most of the house.

Mostly the problem is solved by refreshing the iFi channel but thats a right pain all the time.  Sometimes the problem solved by rebooting the machine or the router.......theres got to be a simple solution to this surely? Its driving me mad!!

Re: MacBook Air Intermittently Dropping Off WiFi to Home Hub 4

Reset the hub to factory default, then

Try turning Smart Setup off.

Also try separating the SSIDs.
