Its difficult to suggest anything else. Its just a bit odd that the BT hub is not responding to a DHCP request from the phone. Without setting up a separate DHCP server its difficult to prove.

On thing that may work, has it been suggested that you configure the IP phone, so it does not use DHCP, and instead, configure it for a static LAN IP address?

Can you actually access the configuration settings on the IP phone?

If you can, it would be very simple to setup a static LAN IP address.

No, you cannot change the login details for that.

Did you see my question regarding the IP phone settings, as that would be an easy thing to try, as it should overcome the DHCP issue?

If it has a setting page, then change the network settings from DHCP to static IP (manual settings), and enter the following.

IP address 192.168.1.50

Subnet mask 255.255.255.0

Default gateway 192.168.1.254

DNS server 192.168.1.254

I an fairly sure that the business hub uses the same IP subnet details as the home hub.

If you access the business hub from 192.168.1.254, then that would be correct.

I would have expected your employer`s IT department to have suggested this first.
