The smart tv is in the lounge and works fine with Netflix. It is the Sony tv with Roku3 that is not making the connection with Neyflix (but is to you tube etc). Both connected to Bt Infinity Hub 5

I turned off Smart Set up on the Hub manager.

I reset the DNA settings again on the Hub manager.

tried Netflix and it works.

i hope the above may help someone else.

Re: Netflix connection problem

Hi bobciax2 - I am unfortunately in a very similar situation to you. I have Infinity with the latest Smarthud and have just bought a Roku 3.

I can only connect to Netflix when the parental controls are off - and when they are, everything is great. However, when I put the parental controls back on (I have teenage kids so I need PCs in place) I am locked out again.

I can get Netflix on my Panasonic TV and on a set top box, but not through the ROKU 3 !

Do you have to keep the Pf to access Netflix,

Re: Netflix connection problem

Sorry - my last post ended a bit abruptly !

I meant to say, do you have to keep the parental controls off to retain access to Netflix, or are they now back on. If you can watch with PC on, which of the steps you did the job ?

Many thanks

You need to make sure that the Roku 3 uses the home hub as the DNS server. If there is an option on the Roku 3 to change the network settings to manual, then you can set the DNS server address to 192.168.1.254.

Re: Netflix connection problem

Thanks babciax2.

Keith - unfortunately there are no options to change the network settings on the Roku 3.
Are there any other options or do I have the Smarthub (supposedly the best ISP provided router), with Infinity and one of the best regarded streaming devices but no access to Netflix !
Thanks again for your help
