Re: New Firmware SG4B10002244 delivered and all OK

Lucky you. I still have the problems introduced with firmware SG4B1000223E. Wireless devices never get an IP address. Wired devices get an IP address but this drops after a few hours, and the only way to resolve is to restart the hub.

Your problems may be with the Hub unit itself not with the firmware. I say this as I've got 223E - wireless devices connect and I've had a wired connection since the firmware update (6 December for me).

Re: Smart Hub firmware SG4B10002244 has not fixed the problems of SG4B1000223E

2244 seems to be working for me - the only 'oddity' is that the wifi password which the original upgrade insisted I change away from that on the card on the back, has now reverted to original. But split wifi has stayed, ipV6 and BT wifi has been enabled. At the moment it's still profiling as our port in the exchange failed and, at the same time, we had our circuit from the exchange to our local cabined changed.

As a result there's been a bit of rebooting, but it's getting less frequent.

Here's to a quiet Christmas!

Re: Smart Hub firmware SG4B10002244 has not fixed the problems of SG4B1000223E

I have hone back to my old hub 5a as the hub 6a was rebooting so bad my ip profile dropped 24mb

so bad that the BTTV HD was suffering very blocky pictures bt said got to wait for the speed to pickup again

So if you say it so good

Please let me know in a weeks time how the hub6 is working then I may put mine back on line

Been told by BTTV  it may take over 2 weeks for the speed to recover back to what it was

I wish I could have reverted to the previous software i had no issues with it

But you do not get the option now

Re: Smart Hub firmware SG4B10002244 has not fixed the problems of SG4B1000223E

I hope it's ok I post here. Yesterday I got the firmware update too and since then my smarthub 6 syncing only 70Mbps. Before the update it synced with 74Mbps and got a download speed of 70Mbps. Now the maximum download speed I can achive is 65Mbps. I tried to restart the hub, no change. Anybody else experiencing such a drop?

I got SG4B10002244 last night and my reported download data rate has gone up from 66 to 72.5 Mbps.

The connection had previously been up for 8 days.

Yep

Hub6a just rebooted again

Now looking I have the new 2244 menu seems lot faster

But due to the rebooting my profile is now down to 45mb fro 74.1

So I hope Openreach that now BT have sorted out the 223e issues my profile will go back uo

Mine updated to 2244 firmware at or, near the routine TR69 communication time of between midnight to 1-00AM.

I'm still seeing the numerous failed TR69 events in the logs.

Will do a factory reset and reconfigure to the existing settings later today.

Hopefully it will be a straightforward task.

Fortunately I have'nt had reboot problems in the past.
