You should be opted in automatically, but you can check on this link.

BT FON/Wifi  home page, where you can check if your details are correct

Re: New HUB 3 user

BTFon and BTOpenzone (not openreach;)) have been changed to BTWifi and BTWifi-with-fon

Do you see these?

If not, it is unusual as all new hubs, regardless to being opted in or out of BTWifi will always default to transmitting the SSID's. Then depending on whether you're in or out, the hub will reflect this after about 48 hours (possibly even up to 2 weeks).

Is it that you can't see BT Wifi or fon or that you can't get logged in. To log in you need to use your primary email address as your log on name and your BT Yahoo password. Both are case sensitive.

Re: New HUB 3 user

If you've no user changes to the hub, you could try and force it to start transmitting these SSID's.

There is a little red recessed button on the rear of the hub, press this (with a paper clip or similar) for 20 seconds or until the hub lights go off. Release the button, allow the hub to fully boot (3 blue lights) and then see if it shows them.

So to confirm - if you scan for wireless networks on both devices, BTFon/BTOpenzone/BTWifi/BTWifi-with-Fon are not there in the list of available networks?

Download the BT Wifi App. It's available on both Android and Iphone. It will find and log you in easily.
