New Router

Go to solution

I've decided to buy a new router & have been recommended the TP-Link AC 1600 as a good value, mid range router that will provide a satisfying upgrade over the bthomehub

I will have 8 devices on my home network of which only 3 have anything like regular use (no games consoles at the moment)

What does the panel think ?

At the purchase price (£70) is their anything significantly better out there that I should be looking at ?

All thoughts/comments very welcome

I doubt you would get anything better for the price.

AKA the TP-Link Archer VR600. I have one and it's excellent. But make sure you're getting the version 2, as version 1 isn't supported any more.

Faultless install of the TP (Archer) router, literally less than a minute

It's a bit faster as well & pages certainly open faster

Glad you're pleased. You should find you can now forget all about it and it'll just go on working without missing a beat.
