Oh

Well looks like I’m still stuck then

@Katiecx

Go to this link put in your postcode and from the list select your address.

Once you get a result it may (I hope) look like this:

FTTP_Address_Check.JPG

For privacy I have removed the address and a few other details, if you could take a screen shot and remove just your address.

The info you are looking for is:

WBC FTTP

If you have that you "should" be able to get Fibre to the Premisis.

If it says FTTC that's a different matter.

Kind Regards

Take a screenshot and then click on the Photos icon to insert the file. Only visible on the full site, not the mobile site.

Re: New build nightmare!

Can’t see a way to switch to full from mobile.

I’m just so confused as to what I’m actually waiting for? My original order was actually at end of the September but BT said it got “lost” coming on for nearly 3 months to have internet.

The builders have said this fitted the cable (it’s white, comes out the house in to the ground)
What is there left to do?! 😱

Re: New build nightmare!

@Katiecx

We were trying to help you find out which service you can get.

FTTP (Fibre to the Premises) nice and fast up to 330 Mbps.

FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet) not as fast but up to 80 Mbps

ADSL (old tech) not fast.. average 10 Mbps.

From the record hard to tell, NOT to be confused with FTTP on demand (you don't want that, it's not a current product and it's VERY expensive).

Can you access the link from a PC or Mac?

By the sounds of it now OpenReach just need to come in your home and fit a white ONT box (what you plug your hub into instead of a regular socket). They won't do this however until the developers have signed this part of the work off and passed that info back to openreach.

Keep on nagging at the developers and be sooo annoying calling every hour to them so they actually do something just to get you to stop calling lol.

Re: New build nightmare!

Thanks for all the help. Still can’t get on a laptop to upload my picture of the services available.

We are still waiting.

We were told we wouldn’t be able to have fibre by other resident across the way and the developer but when I input my postcode and my address on Openreach Site it says that yes actually we can get it?!

I’m so confused. (Easily done admittedly!)

Two OR vans have recently been on the estate but weren’t here long and both gone now.

I’m more interested in weather we can get fibre now..
