No WiFi

After 2 months of no WiFi and watching a flashing orange smart hub 2 for 10-12 hours a day and no resolution we made a formal complaint to BT yesterday. Today for the first time since March we have had internet all day! Coincidence? We don’t want to assume anything is magically fixed but would love some answers.

Re: No WiFi

Did you report a fault or just make a complaint?

Did you have no Internet or was it just no wifi. There is an important difference.

What happened for the 12 to 14 hours when the Smarthub was not flashing orange?

Re: No WiFi

We’d reported a fault throughout April and an engineer came out but couldn’t do anything.
Yesterday we put a complaint in via BTs complaint system.

Our devices could see the bt hub but we couldn’t access the internet via WiFi or the hardwired tv couldn’t access any internet services. This would be the case until the hub became blue again after 10-12 hours. We performed Hub resets, moved the hub, changed the hub but nothing made a difference.

Re: No WiFi

We’ve had it both on and off or our hub that was new in January and the one they replaced it with in April.

Is it known for causing problems?
