Over/under allowance useage

Go to solution

I was surprised to see that BT do not allow under useage to be carried over to the next month. A case in point, for the last 3 days of June,I was away on company business and was unable to get internet access.I had 4.54 GB left which I subsequently lost My point being, that if I had been 4.54 over my limit (I am on option 2) then BT would probably have rounded this up to 5.0GB and I would have been charged £5.00.I guess I will just have to make sure I use my allowance up for each month. I can't see the point of taking usage up to the limit deliberately; if you do that there's an obvious danger of going over inadvertently. Note that usage is not rounded up - you will be charged £5 if you exceed your limit by 0.1GB, 5GB or anything in between (unless it's the first time you have exceeded).
