PPPoE with Opnsense WAN drops.

Hello! I'm using FTTP PPPoE connected to an Opnsense (physical) box which is fine 90% of the time.

However, I am getting an increasing number of issues where my WAN IP is dropped seemingly randomly. It does not recover until I restart the opnsense box, which resolves it for a while.

Authing for PPPoE with bthomehub@btbroadband.com : bt and monitoring of the gateway is disabled

Has anyone using 3rd party routers with FTTP had similar problems? Not sure how to debug this further

Re: PPPoE with Opnsense WAN drops.

Hi did you make any progress with this? I cannot even get an IP address on my wan port my internal lan is working fine but despite the wan port showing as up, there does not appear to be an IP address and I cannot access the Internet any ideas?
