PS3 Black Ops NAT problem

Hey ppl,

So I finally got my PS3 to change to a open NAT type last night by giving it a static IP by using the DMZ settings in the homehub home page but when I came in tonight to play a game it had change back to modorate again.

Any ideas?

Thanks a lot in advance for any help

Re: PS3 Black Ops NAT problem

Remove your PS3 from the DMZ and try this instead:

http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/BT/BTHomeHub2/default.htm

Leave your PS3 with a static IP however (static IP required for application sharing settings).

Also on here, you'll find the required TCP/UDP ports to open up for it:

http://portforward.com/cports.htm

Also another tip if you have multiple systems is to assign each system with it's own trigger port:

PS3 number one: trigger port 0

PS3 number two: trigger port 1

Basically the trigger port trick worked with me in regards to two XBOX 360's that get's used in my house to get around the NAT issue, that was when I used to use the HomeHub 2 Type A (with another ISP now, so HomeHub 2 is useless now).

My Motto:
Going to kill my HomeHub 2 very soon. 🙂
