Re: Pages of TR69 ConnectionRequest Failed

If I picked up a HG612, I'd be using it with my Asus AC66U (over PPOE) like I used to with my draytek vigor on adsl 🙂 Will probably pick one up soon... was really hoping the home hub would just do its job the best it could as the more numbers there are to monitor the more OCD I get about this kind of thing 😞

Thanks for the info though!

Re: Pages of TR69 ConnectionRequest Failed

Missed that. I think a £10 or so investment to someone on the well known auction site is well called for.

Re: Pages of TR69 ConnectionRequest Failed

Unfortunately I think they are a little bit more than that these days, people are catching on to the value of them.

Re: Pages of TR69 ConnectionRequest Failed

Yeah looking at about £30-40 for one. Still not a terrible price though. Shame they don't just allow you to see more error information on the hh6. At least they could fix the bug showing the speed in kbps instead of mbps!

Re: Pages of TR69 ConnectionRequest Failed

Even if it did, its still a bodge trying to use a HH in front of another router, much better to use a true modem.

Don't pay a premium for an unlocked one, its child's play to unlock the Huawei. Soldering iron job for the ECI though.

True, I was suprised it worked so well. Even upnp seems to function correctly! vpn in and out not a problem too.

Yes, mine updated to 223E overnight.

There are no problems, no immediately apparent changes other than BT wifi is now active.

Smartphone initially connected to "BT wifi with fon" but quickly reverted to HH6 wireless, which is set as default.

However TR69 connection request "failed" persists.

Will try a factory reset - but not today - as it's not always a 5 minute task! Smiley Indifferent

Was your TR69 problem there before the 223E update, or did it just start in the past 2, 3 days?

It may give a clue....

Re: Pages of TR69 ConnectionRequest Failed

Also have pages of this and intermittent disconnections/sluggish speeds over the last 2-3wks gradually getting worse

Any resolution for this that doesnt require a degree in network engineering?

Just to add my hub 6 updated to latest firmware on 27/11 but I have errors from before that too
