I have the exact same issue and bt are saying there's nothing wrong with my connection 😞
I am literally having the same problem... Have been experiencing this since December, been on the phone to BT to be told there is nothing wrong and not being able to understand what ping is! Which is very frustrating! I have also had home visits by engineers twice to no outcome... I really want this problem fixed but i have tried everything! QoS on router has been tried and still getting the same result. Back when this started i decided to see if it was the router so went from a BT Smart Hub to a Netgear router... still same result!
If i could i would of gone to Virgin but there is no cable to my house for their service so i am stuck with this!!
I don't know how you can keep giving the same awful advice, instead of acknowledging there is an actual issue. You have been in the other threads which specfically state there was no issue with multiple devices on the same service until around Decemember. When all of a sudden a whole bunch of us started seeing the ping spikes when video streaming services are running. How come the BT connection was absolutely fine before this?
How is it the others on the same package are able to post results without any ping spikes when running 2-3 twitch streams at the same time.
To the others in this thread, BT are not interested in fixing this issue. As a gamer, you are not important to them compared to the family down the street that don't care about ping but instead care about being able to run video content. Leave as soon as you can. Sky and Zen seem to be decent options from feedback so far. Virgin if available also.
If you are locked onto a long contract, you are going have to make multiple call outs for an engineer to visit. They might let you out of the contract early if they cannot fix the issue and you keep complaining.
Another option is using a 3rd party Modem/Router with decent QoS options. I've done this myself and it's helping a lot. Not perfect but playable while the girlfriend is using Netflix. I've got about another 5-6 months and then i'm leaving BT. Good luck.
It goes further than watching or streaming netflix causing ping spikes, even listening to music on spotify causes jitters between 80-160ms.
hundreds and hundreds of customers are having the same issue and there's nothing you can do about it other than change ISP it seems, but you can't cancel because of ping spikes because bandwidth is alright (i assume) so we've all had it, stuck and having to kick your mam of the telly to play games

There's a few other large posts on the forum with same issue, I'm having it too. Only thing that's worked for anyone is switching provider. No response from the many people who's contacted support. No help on here. Ridiculous.
