Ping has shot up

hey all,

wondering if it’s me but my ping has shot up its very inconsistent. Before 25th Aug I had 9ms easy all the time now it’s anything from 22ms to 61ms I was wondering if there’s anything I can do? Is this a DNS thing? Or equipment?
