For months I've been having ping spikes whilst gaming on and off, sometimes up to 700 making it unplayable. This has happened across multiple devices.
It seems other users have the same problem when other people in the household are using streaming services such as netflix. I would assume that this is the case a lot with me but it does also seem to happen at random occurrences.
The only other problem is we have quite an odd setup now, but the problem did exist prior to that..
After researching other threads it looks like you may be able to help.
I've done "Dial 17070 and select option 2" and there's a very faint noise, not sure if that's just the phone though...
Any help would be much appreciated.
if you can hear noise on quiet line test then you need to make sure it is not your phone problem. I same with a corded phone then report phone problem to 151
Thanks for the link.
I don't want to wait until June for the supposed fix which is why I've tagged the mods. Can one please get in contact with me?
Welcome to the Community and thanks for taking the time to post.
Can you post screenshots from PingPlotter showing the connection with just a game running and one with both a game and Netflix running?
Hi @Matt-S ,
Thanks very much!
I've just downloaded PingPlotter for the first time. This is what it looks like just gaming (league of legends), literally no other usage in the house at the moment. It's totally unplayable, so let me know if you can help!
Hi @Sharpie thanks for testing that and posting back. I've sent you a Private Message with details on how to contact the Mod team and we will have a look to see what we can do to help improve this for you.
