Poor WiFi

Hi

Is there anything I can do to impove the WiFi connection around the house,wired is fine but I cannot use WiFi upstairs is just keeps disconnecting, I have tried with separate bands and even tried different channels but it is just useless even 1 room away, I did the online chat but they just told me my connection was fine which I know it is, does anyone know if I am missing a setting somewhere please.

Maybe change to complete wifi package and get the discs to cover you home with wifi guarantee

No m8 I am using the BT hub I had a Netgear but it packed in but Im thinking I may need to buy another router I just cant get the Wifi on the hub to work properly.

Its possible that you have a faulty home hub, so you could ask for a replacement if you are still in a contract.

The nearest third party dual band router would be something like

TP-Link AC1200 Wireless Dual Band VDSL/ADSL about £67

That works with all BT services, including BT YouView.

There is a cheaper single band model as well.
