Private Wi-Fi addresses on Apple devices

Go to solution

Hello

I'm having an issue which has just started (24/03/26) where my Apple devices stop connecting to the Wi-Fi correctly.  I've noticed they get the default DHCP address (169.254.x.x), and I believe it has something to do with this feature from Apple (Use private Wi-Fi addresses on Apple devices).  Disabling the feature on my Apple devices does not resolve the issue, and the only way I've found so far is to reboot my BT Hub.

Does anyone know how to fix this without disabling the feature on my Apple devices or rebooting the BT Hub?

Many thanks

Ewan.

In a nutshell, no.

Disable the feature, reboot the hub then leave the feature disabled.
