Problem in Connecting LG 47LM860 to New Hub6

Go to solution

Hi All,

I  have a problem when connecting my LG 47LM860 smart TV to the new Hub6. The ethernet connection is intermittent and fails when running on-demand programs where the connection keeps dropping out. The TV wireless connection works ok to the new hub and the ethernet connection worked ok on the old Hub5. The only thing I can think of is that the Hub6 ethernet ports are designed to run at gigabit speed. Any ideas what the problem might be?

Dave

Just for your information, the HH5 had four gigabit ports. What that means is the ports support gigabit transfer speeds. It does not mean that anything using these ports has to work at that speed and can not work at slower speeds.

Hi all

thanks for your replies. It looks as though TV is the problem. Dave
