I have an old zyxel router configured as a wireless access point connected to my BT smart hub via powerline adaptors. The zyxel router is configured in bridge mode with DHCP disabled IP address of zyxel router is 192.168.1.2, smart hub is 192.168.1.254.
Both routers have the same wireless security settings /SSID but are on different channels
This works well with devices seamlessly switching between the 2 wifi networks, except for one problem. After a device moves from the zyxel wifi to the smart hub wifi, I cannot connect from it to most of the local devices with a wired connection to the smart hub. I can connect to the internet and the missing devices are available from other wired devices. After several minutes the missing devices become available
Any ideas?
