I'm not sure if I've posted this on the right Forum but I've got BT Infinity and Apple Mac computer, iphone, ipad all connected. My problem is that the system keeps freezing ie I get a circular rainbow coloured icon which means I can't do anything and they after 5 mins or so I'm back on again. This happens every 15-30 mins. Any thoughts and suggestions (including which Forum this should go on) would be welcome

If this is only happening with wireless devices make sure that you have turned off "Smart Set Up". See link how to do that.
Thanks - I've just done that and switched it off - so will wait to see if this makes a difference.

Known as the 'spinning beachball'
If you've installed any of the extas like Net Protect then these can cause problems. It sounds like the problem is with the Mac and not the Infinity.
The spinning beachball is back - so switching off Smart Set up doesn't appear to have resolved this. I had connection set up over a year ago and this has got worse over the last 6 months. Maybe I'm running too much software - but I certainly haven't exceeded the memory or anything (I'm sure there are better ways of putting this but not being in the least technical doesn't make any of this exactly easy!
Can you run this checker and post back a screen shot of the results. Make sure you delete your phone number before posting.
and use this speed tester then carry out the further diagnostics and post back a screen shot of all the results including your IP profile for up and down. This test must be done with a wired connection.

Spinning coloured wheels on a Mac are unlikely to be due to your Internet connection.
I assume you other Apple devices are working fine? If so you need to be looking for an issue with your Mac. I suggest you book an appointment with a Genius at an Apple store.
