Re: Connecting garden room to internet with Smart Hub 2

Hi - Sorry I'm not great with technology, but Ive just had installed a Smart Hub 2 with Full Fibre 500 and have a garden workshop / office around 30FT away. In your experience should I get a good wifi signal if I connect a TP Link WA1201 in the workshop with an ethernet lead to the rear of the router in the house ? And if so would this be better than using one of the complete wifi discs ?

Appreciate any help you can offer me

Many thanks

What you have suggested sounds a good way to extend your Wi-Fi.

Re: Garden Office WiFi

That's great thank you so much for this, would have 2 laptops, mobile phone and smart tv (running Firestick) so think I might need the dual band version unfortunately.

Would this still give me a very good Wi-Fi signal from Full Fibre 500 , in your experience ?

Thanks again

That should work very well as the signal from a wireless access point is very good, as that is what they are designed for.
