Re: Upgrade to Infinity/Home Hub 3: Lost NAS from home network

Go to solution

Hi there

I have this same issue

Just got BT infinity today. I attached the nas to HUB (previously Sky hub)

lenovo was visible on the old system but not when just added to BT hub

I have no idea how I setup the static IP adress though (i'm getting really frustrated as all my music is on NAS but not available/visible at the moment

I will ask my son-in-law (as usual) but if I can sort beforehand that would be great.

Any pointers would be good

Thanks

Mike

@Mikehamilton1964

Welcome to this user forum.

The NAS may need to be reset so it gets a new IP address from the home hub. The Sky routers and the home hubs, are on different subnets, so if the NAS has been set up manually for the Sky router, it will need to be changed.

Which Lenovo model number NAS do you have?

Thanks Keith

I went to play Squash and my good lady sorted it and I now have access to my nas and all the music on it

She is clearly a smarty pants

Thanks

Mike
