I am having the same problem too and likewise mine started about 4 weeks ago. I have been on the phone to BT testing this trying that - finally i got through to BT Priorty Care who are sending me a new router. Not so sure about that though because the speed from the exchange has slowed down so replacing internal hardware wont change that.....but we'll see.
