Remote Teaching and Port Forwarding

Dear Community,

I am teaching English remotely for the foreseeable future... we often use Minecraft Education Edition in normal class but we connect over LAN...

I've been given instructions on how to do this remotely but I'm stuck on port forwarding... I need to open port 19132...

I've gone into the Smarthub 2 and done that but I see no green tick... I'm very stuck! Please help!

Best, Tony

Re: Remote Teaching and Port Forwarding

In the hub/advanced/firewall I can see many forwarded ports and there is a green tick after all except the rule I made?

Re: Remote Teaching and Port Forwarding

If you forwarded the port correctly it should look like this with your device/IP address rather than 192.168.1.44

After creating the rule click on the blue button to the side (red in the screenshot) and then click save.

Re: Remote Teaching and Port Forwarding

Are you sure it is a smarthub 2 you have?

Are you trying to forward the same port to multiple devices?
