Replacing BT Home Hub (Fiber to home) with Tp-Link TL-ER604W

Hello,

We have a fiber to home service that requires us to have a BT Open Reach Fiber to WAN box.  This WAN box then connected to a BT Home Hub 3 WAN to LAN box.  I would like to replace the BT Home Hub 3 with a Tp-Link TL-ER604W box, but need to advice with regards to the setup of the Tp-Link TL-ER604W.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Harry

Re: Replacing BT Home Hub (Fiber to home) with Tp-Link TL-ER604W

You need to configure the WAN port for PPPoE and with the credentials of bthomehub@btbroadband.com as username and BT as password. Select 'Always on' and leave other settings as default.

See fig 3-9 page 15 of the user guide. https://www.tp-link.com/uk/download/TL-ER604W.html
