Ring doorbell WiFi issues

Hi, we've recently invested in a ring doorbell and are having issues with the WiFi connection being poor. I have turned off the smart connection and have both 5ghz and 2.4ghz running. We have 3 discs around the house too. The issues is that the doorbell seems to keep changing its connection and even though the closest to it is the main router, it's jumping between the discs. I can see it in the lists of connected items on the admin part, but don't know how to move it to the router connection!

Ring doorbell

I have recently invested in a Ring doorbell, however am having WiFi connection issues with it. 

The doorbell keeps jumping connections from the main router to our discs, and when it connects via the discs the WiFi isn't very strong because of the distance. 

Is there a way to ensure it only connects to the main router which is the closest point? I've been onto admin and cannot figure out a way to change its connection!
