Router Connection Problems

Go to solution

Now here's a puzzler. Our landlord recently installed a new personal BT router in his pub. He connected his iphone and Amazon firestick to it with no problem whatsoever. He kindly gave a few of us his password to enable us to surf the net. We all have android phones and had no problem finding the router, entering the password and connecting. Unfortunately all of us have the message "connected but no internet access" and we just cannot understand why ? Our landlord even deliberately 'forgot' his connection on the iPhone and re-connected succesfully. We just cannot understand what could be blocking our internet access....does anyone have any ideas please ....most appreciated.

Try asking him to  turn Smart Setup off.

Also try separating and renaming the SSIDs.

I assume its a home hub 4 or 5.
