Just moved back to our property after 4 years abroad and had two lots of tenants in that time. Ordered new broadband / phone package through John Lewis ( Plusnet) but they say they can't process as landline number is already connected to another working account? Help!!!
@LL1 Your new provider should be able to place an order to take over the current working service, this process can take a couple of weeks to complete. We're only able to help BT customers so you'd be best raising this with John Lewis.
possible that last tenants kept number when they moved and set up broadband account elsewhere?
